I have watched (and show) their series on public television that comes with this book. It's great to have the exact recipe and show it to Julia and the guest chef as they prepare for this great food.

This is a wonderful book to use for special occasions. It gives you not everyday foods, but you will find selected recipes, go safe to turn out fantastic. The recipe for the paella is not only authoritative, but quite simply, like the fried fish. Every single dessert I tried was great, the best apple pie, the best chocolate mousse cake ever and the most beautiful towers. I am not an experienced cook and this is the book that I use when I cook for guests.
